This is one of my favorite restaurants on Earth!
I always eat here with my boo and my family. It's the perfect meal for sharing. The chicken plate is delicious, as is any other plate.
Some of my favorites are:
Cauliflower app
Garden Salad (best dressing)
Hummus with meat
Hummus with shawarma
Garlic sauce
BAKLAVA
whatever other dessert was made by the wonderful owner
The family who owns this restaurant cares so deeply about what they do and it shows! They are so personable and it truly is an experience coming in and dining with them!
I also order take out all the time and bring room home to grandma.
LOVE ZENAS -

I've passed by Zena's often and have wanted to check it out, so who better to do that with than my daughter, who is a Lebanese food connoisseur.
The atmosphere is so cozy and intimate! Our waiter was attentive and gave some great suggestions! The spicy chicken is excellent, and we caved in on dessert, enjoying the best balaclava I've personally ever tasted.
My daughter wants to bring her hubby and we've found a new family favorite. I will definitely be back! -

Overall 3.5 stars.
Went in for the first time (been living in the area for about 4-5 yrs). Have always wanted to try it, but today was planning to eat Chinese, but the place was closed. So I decided to try Zena's.
The place was very clean. The table, cups, utensils, etc.
At first glance it seemed a small portion of food for $9 (you can get so more food at other places for similar prices).
Ordered their $8.95 chicken lunch plate. Literally TWO pcs / chunks of chicken kabob breast pcs (a little overcooked / dry), a fresh green salad w 1 cubed pc of tomato, hummus and basmati/garlic rice + arabic bread.
- The salad was very fresh and tasty (more onions/tomatoes would make it even nicer)
- The rice was super delish, had to ask for more, they kindly gave me more (ask for butter, it heightens the delicious flavor)
- The Arabic bread amt is generous, warm, and think a thinner refined pita, it was pretty good and made the meal more filling
Some great kindnesses:
- Free portion of rice + butter
- The owner gave me a pc of baklava b4 I left, it literally was the best version of baklava ever!
Some off kilter moments:
- Service was a little slow
- A table of three that was seated after me, got all of their food first (I was starving waiting for my food and had to suppress feelings of injustice, jealousy LOL)
Some notes to self:
- Next time I will get the full dinner plate with EXTRA RICE & BUTTER, extra salad, less hummus
- Definitely going to order the baklava for sure -

Someone recommended this restaurant and we enjoy Mediterranean cuisine so we were excited to try it out. We came at lunch time but the place was empty. We tried to order the shawarma plate but they were out so the waiter recommended the lamb kabob. The lamb was not bad but it was very expensive for the portion size. We also ordered the cucumber yogurt salad, which was good but once again expensive for what we were getting. The sides that the lamb came with were also small portions for the price. The lamb plate was 19.95 but was barely enough for one meal (it came with a few small pieces of meat).
Overall, the food was a 4 but the prices as compared to other Mediterranean restaurants of the same quality make this place a 3 star for me. I may come back if I'm in the area during their lunch menu hours, but otherwise probably not. -

I would definitely give Zena's a five star rating if it were solely based on service.
Our servers were very nice and friendly. Very good service...thank you.
Our meals are ok at best. I ordered the Schwarma plate. It was pretty pricey for what we got. That in itself wasn't an issue, but the beef itself was pretty darn dry. Tasted like overcooked pot roast.
My wife ordered the Kafta(sp?). Hers had pretty good flavor, but I enjoyed it more than she did.
We stated with an order of the olives. It came in a tiny cup and contained maybe a dozen tiny bitter green olives. Too bitter to eat unfortunately.
